First of all, thank you so much for stopping by my little corner of Medium!
I’m just a silly small-town farm girl from Wisconsin who ended up in Pennsylvania after wandering the world for a bit.
After graduating from law school in 2009, I quickly discovered that a career as an attorney was NOT for me.
In 2014, a cancer scare put things into perspective, and I left my career to pursue a life that actually made me feel ALIVE.
Today, I’m building a media company — all by my myself.
It’s a one-woman show over here.
When people ask me what I do, I usually tell them I run a “publishing business” because it's just easier to explain.
But I do a lot more than just publish books.
I’m creating media assets all over the internet, from YouTube to Audible, to NewsBreak and Amazon, to Etsy and TikTok, and everywhere in between.
Over the past decade, I’ve turned content creation into a full-time income.
And I’m doing it as a publisher, NOT as an influencer or personal brand or author — which means that most of my content is faceless/published under a pen name.
I’m like a phantom on the internet, lol.
I’m passionate about creating online but have zero appetite for fame.
Too much attention makes this introvert super uncomfy.
